My New Nikon 5000D~~~

Yes!! Finally I bought the Nikon 5000D.. Impulse or what, its my next best investment after my Lasik Surgery... Oh yea, definitely one of my better buys so far... Got it at the recently concluded Comex fair... Got quite a good deal at $1199.. Yes, a $100 bucks off with all the free gifts that included tripod, extra battery, lens cleaing kit, camera bag and stuff..... ONly get this deal when you use cash or credit card w/o installments.. Luckily, I can do installments thru my Stanchart's Easipay, no need to do it on the spot so got a $100 dollars off!!! Robin din get it but in the end he got a Canon Eos 500D... Good camera also, was deciding between that and my Nikon..

In any case, I love my new Nikon, just have to figure out all the different functions for the camera... AND save up for my next lens.. Either a wide angle lens or a fixed lens... =)

Went to see this show over at the drama centre at the national library yesterday.. Watched the matinee show.. I must say, I did not have much expectations of the show.. Really.. Furthermore, I got the complimentary tickets to it courtesy of Robin's OCBC Arts card.. That reminds me, I need to go and apply for it soon.... Ha... Anyway back to the show.. It was actually 2 shows ,with 15 mins of intermission..

First one was "Full Tank" by Laremy.. Yay, from our own Kent ridge hall.. It was a great comedy but also one with a hidden agenda to it.. Love the way it showed the different scenes back and forth.. The performance by them was just flawless.. Really brought everyone into laugthers.. Lol.. Of course, not forgetting the "flowerly" language that filled the entire show.. Just one question, how is it possible that a tank can fit through the SPC gas station??? Lol...

After the break, the 2nd one was "Botak Boys" by Julian Wong.. To be honest, I got a shock when they started popping out from the audience, and fall'd in on stage.. Nice one... Then they started singing... Double shock.. And, it was catchy by the way, the "BMT" song.. still ringing in my head.. are they coming out with a CD?? I wanna get one... Then the story unfurled with these 5 recruits.. Ha, the most funny of them all were the 2 buddies, one "educated Ah Beng" and one tall guy who lifts up his hands everytime he finishes a sentence.. Ha. Hilarious...

Then the other most shocking cast there to me was Justin, played by Terence Tan.. Wow, he sings?? At first, I dont even know who is he, although he looks kinda familiar, but darn, he has a good voice... Great acting, great voice, great looks.. I think he is the next upcoming actor man.. Only upon searching, then i knew where I saw him before... From Living with Lydia... Lol.. that was quite long ago i suppose... But nevertheless, kudos to him for playing such a difficult role and performed it so well..

Ah, so after 2.5 hours of that, I felt satisfied.. It was a good show, and I would definately pay to see it.. Too bad, the play ended today... If not, I would definately go watch it again.. Oh well, this was the 2nd rerun, and hopefully the extend it and we get to see more of them soon!!!

Transformers 2 and Harry Potter 6

Ok, 2 summer blockbusters.. Watched it all at Eng Wah in Suntec, courtesy of discounted tickets from Stand Chart... Ha.. Well, i like the quality of the movie there, all digital, super clear and huge screen....

Anyway, down to these 2 movies.. I must say, I officially think Rotten Tomatoes reviews are totally crap... 80% for Harry Potter and 20% for transformers... -______- Guess which movie I will choose to watch again... Seriously, whats with critics... Are they paid to do these reviews??? why is it so skewed.....

Just finished watching Harry Potter today... the thing about Harry Potter is that they always change directors.. The worse one is the one where scenes proceeded with the screen blacking out and transiting to the next.. Like watching a powerpoint presentation.... The best was the one with the fight with Bellatrix... The newest addition was like.... o.0 I really dunno how to describe it... Its slow, draggy, heading to nowhere... They can simply cut into 3 parts and show it as a miniseries on TV.... The end is worse, left everyone hanging... Yea I know its a build up to the last book, but at least give it some sort of a punch... How I wish I only get to see it together with the last movies for the last book, I heard its gonna be in 2 parts... The lamest thing is when Snape said he was the half blood prince right at the end.. and thats it... o.0 It sounds like they had done the entire movie and forgotten to mention the half blood prince, and Snape comes along and puts in that sentence... I mean, Daivd Yates did do a pretty good job on Order of Phoenix, but this??? On the next 2 part installment, the first will have a social-realist feel and the next an operatic theme.... Social-realist feel!! Wow.. They should might as well rename it the Documentary of Harry Potter.. The funny thing is that the actors and actresses in it appear so used to their roles, as if they are living their lives on a daily basis.. Ok, the good part about the movie was that the actors have really matured.. It was a convincing performace, esp from Horace Slughorn.. If Im not wrong, he acted in Moulin Rouge too... Anyway, the part where Dumbledore died and everyone raised their Wands was the best scene indeed.. Almost gave in a tear too.. Well, the whole movie was like sitting in a car, moving through the country, nothing that exciting, nothing that bumpy. Just a smooth, slow ride to the horizon....

I still cant believe it got 80% and Transformers got a 20%.. WTH!!! I would give Harry a 60% and Transformers 60% too.. I do agree that the robots did outshine the actors in Transformers, but what do you expect, its Transfomers, not Transformer's boy hero... It was all about the robots in the beginning.. But really, whats with the Primes looking like scrawny prawn like robots..

Sun Yan Zi Concert!!!!

11th July....After so long, its my first ever Sun Yan Zi Concert... The Answer Is~~~

Well, went with Ber and Yihan, although I am a Fan of hers, followed her for the past 9 years, she is the only artist that made me buy everyone of her album. Sad to say, this is only my first time attending her concert... Having her perform here is so rare, I think Jay chou had more concerts here than her.. Oh well, expecting a superb show, on first look at the set, I was like.. OMG... Y is it made up of tracing papers?? Oh well, as people started streaming in, the show din start until around 8.40pm.. And I peeked at the gal infront of me, who sat all by herself, messaging to her fren on her fustration that the concert took so long to start... EH, obviously you havent been to many concerts, I had to wait for Avril to appear on stage like for an hour plus, when the stand in band was finally boo'd off stage....

Anyway, back to the concert... See that hole in the spiral set in the middle, she appeared on stage through that hole when the set unfurled and wow... the set actually moves, its not just a roll of toilet paper.. Woo... First song was 梦游， and she came out in this golden glittery dress with a bob head... Wow, so retro... Then continued with some fast songs like 神奇...

The high part was when she got to 第一天.. Just as the song erupted, the whole stadium was on their feet.. Everyone was so high, singing to the song, exactly the way we would sing in a ktv... Ha... That moment to me was the super climax of the whole concert.. But the funny thing is our section seems sober, everyone was lke listening attentively to the songs, although there were a few gals behing us screaming and singing the songs throughout...

Then came the guest star part when she sang a song with Peter, the vocal teacher.. Nice.. Then Hartono came and belt out his jazz songs.. Great singer, only 17.... -__- Makes me feel so old...

So after that Yan Zi came back siting in this jellyfish thingy and circled half the stage.. With a keyboard on board the "spacecraft".. Woah... Amazing... As you can see from the picture below, she was playing the keyboard, singing while sitting in that revolving jellyfish.. Ha.. I think it was like an underwater theme, cos she dressed up like a sea cucmber... Lol... That by the way as commented by Ber.. Ha..

Ok, I dont have the photos for the next act I am going to say, cos I was too awestruck. Down came this "heavenly gate" thing, and Yan zi appeared from below.. Everyone was like, hmm, is it really her singing 风筝? No!! Its a hologram of her singing in between the gates.. Woah, so lifelike, I was fooled for awhile.. Then the real her came alongside, dressed in the prettiest frock she wore that evening, a white gown like dress...

Soon after the side blocks were lifted, revealing the band and spotlights as you can see below... Super Cool, looks like the Jacky Cheung Concert though... I love the 超快感 best, slow at first then sped up in the middle, then slow again.. It was so funny... Then there was so many other favourites like 同类，The moment, 向左走,向右走, Stefanie.... THe list goes on.. It was like a big karaoke session for me.... When she din sing 逆光, I was like.. huh?? Not until the last 2nd encore, she came out and sang the song.. Wa... Scared the hell outta me.. Then 绿光 also.. Amazing she din sing that song, then when the encore came, she sang it with a twist in chord and rhythm... Sounded a bit wierd, but nevertheless still nice.... =)

The best thing in the concert is the amount of songs she belted out and the quality of her live singing is unparelled... Really.. Whoever said she couldnt sing live should come and listen to her for themself.. Shame on you... Compared to most artists recently, she is arguably the best in live singing.. After 2-3 encores, the show finally ended... I would definately watch it again if it shows again... Im sure the other 10,000 people in the stadium would feel the same... Now, its back to listening to her albums again.. Ar, what memories....

CATS!!

Finally went to watch CATS at Esplanade Theatre yesterday.. I think it was shown in Singapore sometime back... Honestly, I didn't think I will go watch CATS, cause compared to other musicals by Andrew Lloyd, it didn't seem to be that heavy, plot wise, but after yesterday, I know now why its the second longest running musical and so popular throughout the world...

What made it so special was the interactiveness and the amazing theatrics that was displayed. This is definitely one musical that you cannot watch through a video, it just doesnt do it justice... Another wonderful thing bout it is the numerous characters that appeared, each one so different from one another, appealing to the young and old alike... And of course, who can forget Grizabella, the cat who made 'Memory' Famous, partially thanks to Elaine Page... Lol..

Overall, its not those sad, heart capturing musicals, but more of the fun, colourful, entertaining musicals you see from the likes of Mamma Mia.. Lots of dancing, acrobatic displays, wonderful songs, brilliant costumes, sets... Take a look at the opening song from the musical, one of my favourite song from the musical..

By and all, its a very entertaining musical, kids will definitely love it, but they will be leaving this sun, so for those who miss it, look out for the next one and please dont hesitate next time.... =)

Diversity, a street dance group from Essex, England, has won me over immediately after seeing their audition clip from Britain's got Talent..Its a must watch!!!

Actually, I was looking at the other clip from Flawless, another dance group.. I must say, Flawless is also very very good.... No doubts about that..

But in the end, I think Diversity appeals to me more.. Its the diverse group of people coming together, creating such a wonderful piece of dance, its more like a mini show to me, but the choreography for the dance is simply amazing, and it is exactly what we need in these tough times... Brilliant!!!!

Today I just saw and heard the most spectacular thing that has happened. This 47 year old lady from Britain who got on the show on Britan's got Talent 2009, shocked and wowed everyone around the world.

Other than singing my favorite Musical songs of all time, her voice is so warm and heart wrenching that its hard not to tear even for a bit when listening to her. Given the glitz and glamour the whole music industry has been portraying, its easy to forget that music is all about singing from the heart. Music brings people together and this is a great testament to how everyone around the world got together to support this spectacular singing sensation.

And please, don't ever make her go through some ridiculous Hollywood makeover that portrays someone who she is not at the end of it. I don't believe she is the underdog of the competition, she is definitely going to win this competition and be a worldwide hit.

Whats so great about the last week? Well, lots for that matter!!!

1. Started to use my new Agnes b bag this week, and its great!!!
2. Picked up our new car, Volvo S80 on saturday!!
3. Liverpool decimating Real Madrid and Man U with 4 goals each to boot!!
4. Finally found and bought the Narnia novel that isnt the Movie cover!!

Yes, its a crazy week, but next week onwards , I dont think it will be that great..

1. Darn RT starting next sunday, and subsequently every thurs and sun... Dreads!!
2. Have to start paying monthly installments for the car!! Well, gotta pay for it somehow...
3. More work to come as I come into the 3rd week on my new job...
4. Pay coming in next week, but that also means credit card bills coming too.. -__-

Oh well, at least I have my 2 eye candies to look at.. My new bag and the new Car!! Wootz...

Music CD Review - The best and the worst

Hmm, never did a CD review here did I? I have a music blog that I review CDs and all but I dont think many people know about it, its on my link "My Music Space".. Hmm, anyhow, I shall do one here since more of you guys know this blog better....

Ok, I hope I dont offend any people here but I will tell you my pick of the best and the worst CDs that came out recently....

The 2nd best CD out recently in my opinion is 方大同's 橙月.

Again 方大同 has again came out with a spectacular album, with his clever lyrics and tunes, this album will surely capture new and old fans alike. His jazzy, bluey feel of his songs are also melodious and catchy, at first it may not hit you, but after a few times, you will definately be captivated by it. Favourite picks include Singalongsong, 小小虫,100种表情 ,1234567.

Overall: 3.5/5

And the best CD in early 2009!!... Joanna & 王若琳 by 王若琳

Joanna, the new breakthrough singer from Taiwan. Since her first debut album - Start from here, she has been a hit. The 2nd album, true and similar to her style, features a 2 CD album, with the first being an english album and the 2nd a mix of chinese and english. You can say she is the asia version of Norah Jones.. Basing on this album alone, she can definately take away the Music Awards like Norah if she was in the US.. The talent of her songwriting skills can only be matched by her vocal skills..

If someone told you to write a song about "How I feel about a businessman" or "Adult Crap", what would you write about.. Tell that to Joanna and she does it ever so cheeky and yet light hearted.. Songs like "Nobody's a Nun" and "Man" are also funny and yet insightful... The best song from the 1st CD must be "Aubrey", its a soothing yet sad song.. Trying to understand what the song is trying to say, so give me abit more time to listen to it and fully comprehend the meaning of this beautiful song...

Coming to this, the 2nd CD comes with some chinese songs, some oldies like 玫瑰玫瑰我爱你, and chinese lyris added to some english songs. Amazing covers that she did like "Times of your life" and "Vincent" really added the icing to the cake. Its rare for me to like more than 1/2 of the songs in an album but this album really wins hands down for the most songs entering my playlist.

But again, this CD is only for those who like blues, jazz, and that sort.. So if you are into the rock, pop genre... stay away from it... But Im sure people who listen to it will be converts too... =)

And the worst album of them all...... 瑞恩's 共和国

Ok, before all her fans come and smite me.. haha.. Let me say that I did like her since her first album.. Her songs are abit edgy but it really brought out her character and since then she started to act and stuff and left the music scene for quite some time.. I was quite excited when she announced her first album BUT was devastaed when i heard it...

Ok, her only main song 穿反 was ok, and that was it.. The other 7 songs plus 3 more unplugged, slow edit versions of other songs were just bleah... I tried to listen to it from all music directions, alternative, new-age, classic, rock, punk.. Sorry to say, I cant even fit the songs into any genre... The lyrics were wierd, the music sounded detached and incohesive.. Really, the other hit, 青蛙, was so bad, I would not even eat it.. In all, its a very bad album, but I dont realy blame her, I think she should blame the producers and songwriters.. What are they thinking man, after so many years, you all decided to produce crap for her... -___- I think she deserves more than this, 瑞恩 please get better songwriters, and I think you can write better than these too...

Argh, just got a callup, finally after deferring ICT during university days for 2 years.... And I thought they had forgotten me.. Bleah... somemore its a high key, 15 days!!! Crap, its gonna be like this for years to come... and its still in the same old camp.. eh, not complaining or anything cos its so near my house.. LOL =)

Im so stuck to facebook games now, first it was mousehunt, then fish wrangler, then now ghost hunters!! Everyday I will be waiting for 15mins to come and I will click away.. Ha.... Everyday I will be thinking of either trapping a mobster mouse, reeling in a T150 fish or catching a midnight ghost... Lol...

Went to cut hair at Chapter 2 today.. Well, tucked away at the corner of Marina, I must say its abit funny.. Yea, finally I ventured out of cutting from Kimage for awhile, but I must say, I stil like Kimage.. Cos its only $18 bucks.. Lol.. No la, I think cos they spend longer time on my hair.. I think for Chapter 2, its too fast le.. Lol, like Q cut but with wash+blow.. Somemore that gal who cut my hair din even bother to wash off my gel'd hair then started cutting le, pulling my hair ever so often.. -___- In the end, you couldnt see much difference btw b4 and after the cut.. Lol...

Still now, I havent found the right stylist yet, except for the gal in Kimage, northpoint, but that branched was closed down and she quited!! So hard to find a good stylist nowadays, or is it that my hair is too stubborn, no style suits it... Lol.. Anyway, people are willing to spend so much on their hair nowadays. I heard the stylist telling the gal the package she has now is colour+cut+treatment or something, cheap price, $269..WoW!! I rather use that money go to some resort in Bali.. Ha...

4th day of 2009~~~ Nothing much has happened for the new year actually... Hmm, what happened these few days that are worth mentioning...

For one, Yihan got a new car!! Cool, Hyundai avante~~ Nice, affordable car with cool dashboard displays~~ Yes, its neon blue!! I would invite that colour into my room anytime man... Oh ya, I must mention the "automatic" boot opener that was installed foc for her.. Ha...

Start of a new school sem, starting to feel that office work is somewhat boring... Dunno, but I kinda miss teaching, miss the students.. Not sure if I went on to the right career, but anyways, whats done is done... Lol...

Tmr is another work day.... Bleah~~~

Goodbye 2008 Hello 2009!!!

31st December, the date where we all seem to be frantically reminding ourselves to change writing 08 to 09. The day where you had to accomplish all of your past year resolutions. The day where you had to come up with new ones for the new year. Basically, without years, we would be just counting down time, I will be into my 301st month since I was born.. Coolz!! Anyway, so many things happened this year and I eagerly await 2009.

So what are the major events in 2008 that happened for me:
1) I graduated from NUS (Yesh, after 4 years!!)
2) I went on a Taiwan trip, which was just awesome!!
3) Finally got a job @ Standard Chartered
4) Got much closer to God (Which happened towards the end of the year)
5) Never really did accomplish much of my new year resolutions!!

So for 2009, its a big year for me I think, a busy year and a spiritual one for me...... So, my new year resolutions (just putting them down for keepsake)
1) To do well in my job starting Feb!!
2) To gain @ least 10kg (Seems odd, when everyone would be trying to lose them -_-)
3) To reach a new level in terms of pop piano, guitar playing
4) To be more proficient in Japanese (Cos I may be going Tokyo next year!!!)
5) To attend church, cell group consistently...

Well, the list can go on and on, sometimes it just seems more like long term goals.. Ha...

So, to all, have a great 2009!!!

Birthday!!

Yay!! Birthday coming up on monday... Well, it appears to be Hari Raya Haji too, so its a public hoiday too!! Woohoo~~~ Well, at least I dont have to work on my birthday...

So I will be 25.. Hmm.. almost 1/3 of my life gone... Argh... So old!!! I wanna go back to my secondary school days..Anyway, christmas is coming, my favourite holiday of the year!! Yeap, great gifts, great atmosphere.. Dun think Im gonna do up a christmas party this year, too busy with stuff and too tired... Haa...

Oh, D&D is coming next friday!! Yea, its at Suntec, I hope its gonna be fun!! At first its kinda fustrating to think of what to wear til I got to the costume shop ad rented my first ever Tailcoat there!! More like a tuxedo with a top hat!! Looks so cool, can wait to wear that on friday!! BUT, it costs me a whooping $50 bucks to rent that!! Eh, this is my first time renting costumes so Im not sure 'bout the price, but its certainy expensive for a one night event.

Ok, going off soon to Robin's house and then to the dreaded IPPT.. Going to fail it anyway so I dun really give a damn 'bout it... Ha..

小娘惹 - The Little Nyonya

Wa!! The Drama of the year has come... After watching the first 2 episodes, I must say its really good!! The amazing sets, costumes and all.. WOW!!

The pace is ok for me, although some may find it slow, and the best thing is the music!! Can anyone tell me where to get the opening song for the drama?? Its by Olivia Ong, but I cant get the name of the song, just heard it on 93.3 once... Aiks, that song is so unique and melodious, it just keeps ringing in my head!! I hope I dun miss episodes of it, although I do foresee that I definately will....

Anyway, the interview results are still not out! I have no idea how long they want to make people wait, but at least I am working right now, just feel bad for those still trying to get a job while waiting for this result for almost 2 months now. Not a bad week for me I would say.

Oh, I saw hoards of people (I mean women), queue up for crabtree and evelyn sale at raffles city during lunch time today.. Wow, I really wonder if we are really in recession when they literally sweep through the tiny store.. Oh, we were there getting lunch and I was definately shocked when all of my colleagues who went there only got Old Chang Kee for lunch.... What?? That's lunch?? Haha.. Ok, at least better than me, got dry mee siam from there and eventually got a stomachache after that... -__- Oh ya, I gained 2kg since I went to work.. Lol.. So, you do get fat when working?? I guess Ive been fed by my colleagues there, with all the tea breaks and stuff... Ha...

Week of wait

Ok, the last interview is finally over.. This time was better I thought.. Got a good feeling 'bout it, so they said they will get back to me in a week's time, so cross fingers!! If I get the job, Im certainly going to treat everyone!! Ha.. Oops, shan't say too loudly, otherwise I will get mobbed my people asking me for a treat.. =)

Not a bad week for me I guess, its the wait that I'm dreading.. Been really lazy too, IPPT coming up in 3 weeks time and I just cant pick myself up to go running... Argh!! Someone should just come and kick me out of my seat and my bed.. haha.. Oh well, short post, almost as short as the Rihanna concert.. Ha.. =)

Screwed up!!

Why?? Going into the interview room with confidence of persuading to get the job, then during the interview, hesitated on it.. what ever made me think twice?? The mundaneness of it?? The uncertainty it brings??

I totally flopped!! On one hand, it means so much to me to get the job, on the other hand, my goals and ambitions are now in a total mess!! But I guess he said it right, why is it that when we are young, we can write so many things about what we want to be when we grow up but as we grow up, it gets so much more difficult to know what you want?? The answer of it is actually very simple, we are ignorant and innocent at a young age, as we grow older, we realise the harsh reality of life.. Doctors, pilots, astronomers, lawyers.. just to name a few of our ambitions at young, how many of us really do fulfill these dreams...

Now to think of it, if I am not selected for this position, Im gonna have serious doubts about my future, especially in this tough times.. I am not going to switch from one job to another.. No more temps for me, I just wanna settle down in a company and get down to planning my career... Temps are good but in a way, I just dont feel belonging... Argh, feeling so confused and crappy right now~~~~~~

Finally, after so much commotion and empty promises, Im finally going to start work on monday!! Yay!! or not.... No more slacking, no more rotting at home... Oh well, just so happens to coincide with the end of the school year... Ha...

Argh, a 6 months contract.. Dunno if I'm going to stay on in Standard Chartered after that, that is if they have a good position for me then.. Lol.. With all the economic crap these days, I cant even predict the near future anymore.. Who knows, another bank may collapse in a snap of a finger..

To all who have finished their exams, well done!! Lol.. Happy days are coming, in another week or so... Ha.. 2 months to enjoy.. Wow.. Thats long.. So have fun!!!

Hmm, been awhile since I posted.. But wanna say BYE PEICAI!! Yes, my last day was last friday and Im not going to work for another 3 months I think.. Yea, the temp bank job thing din work out as I am going to go for the banking associate interviews now.. Hmm, anyway, its been real boring at home..

Been 4 days not in school and Im starting to miss them already.. Haiz... Just went for the interview for the bank job just now, really thinking 'bout what have I got myself into.. But right now, I have no job, so if anyone wans me to go for their free day, feel free to ask me!! Ha..

I only know 2E is going to pasir ris i think, the rest Im not sure... Anyway, do study hard for your exams at the end of the year, especially Clyde!!! And the rest of the sec 2's too, important year... =) Wanna thank some of the great students I met like Lina, Juden, Junyong, Bryan, Hannah, Mingi, Ryan, Sarah, Zhengrong (ahem.. Lol..) and of cos, Clyde.. Theres so many more, so the most important is to keep in contact!! Yeah, I will come back once in awhile.. But I am not sure what to do if I come back though, unless there are events in school... =)

Oh, I juz bought a MP3 player!! Woohoo.. But kinda wierd, cos I was planning to buy the Iriver Clix, been thinking bout it for almost a year, but in the end I got a Zen X-fi -__- Ha, oh well, its ok I guess, I love my new player right now, can stream music from my bed now.. haha..

The Best~~ Damn Tour!!

Yay!! Its over? The best damn tour is over... NO!!! In a blink of an eye its over!! Ok, before I go into my post concert depression, let me summarize the concert in all its splendor.. But before that, let me talk about all the crappy stuff that happened that almost made it a crap concert if it wasn't for Avril...

(1) The concert started on time with a band (I have no idea where they come from in the 1st place), good, original songs, still quite happy with them until they continued on to the 4th, then 5th then omg.. I don't wanna count anymore.. Everyone was booing them off stage.. The best thing is when the guitarist goes, 'Are you all ready for another song!!'.. 'NOOooooooo!!' Ha.. Classic.. Feel so sorry for them, but I guess its normal when you paid for the concert and almost 40 mins on the starting band... o.0

(2) Ok, so the band made everyone moody and frustrated, then comes the waiting game.. An hour has passed, and still no sign of the show starting.. As every background song came to an end, crowds were cheering for the possibility of Avril coming on stage, then another song is played.. ha.. It was so funny I tell you..

(3) The concert went on and lasted for exactly 1.5 hours.. abit short I guess, felt that there should be more...

Enough with the crappy stuff that happened, as soon as Avril comes out, everything was forgiven, no more fustration, no more moodiness... Ok, Im stuck, I dunno what to tell you all... Hmm, will keep updating while I upload tons of videos to let you oooogle at what you missed....

Woot, saturday was a tiring day... Yea, came out at 9 in the morning and was out all day til 12.30am.. yea, worse of all, I was in shirt and pants for almost 11hrs.. -___-

Went to the band POP in the morning, nice.. They played Venturia, wow, I have no idea how long ago I played that piece.. Its a small band, but I think they did a great job.. Funny thing is why there are so little people present in band that day, thought it was a big event for them, like a handing over ceremony... But, I think the band got lots of potential to do great, the conductor is good by the way... haha...

Then straight after that I went back home, changed into the dreaded wrking attire and went off to SMU to take the verbal and maths test for the banking associate post.. Sorta like the 2nd round of interviews.. Yea, that dreaded test that I have helped numerous people do it, and now I have to do it myself.. Argh, of cos I din get to finish the questions, but hopefully I did well on those Ive answered... Some people even had the audacity to wear bermudas and sandals into the test area. WOW!! Either they have extreme confidence or they are juz plain bo chap... Oh well, no complaints there..

Next its off to Comex at Suntec... WTF! Sorry for the exclamation, but the number people there are juz crazy!!

Before even entering the convention centre, there was like already a 20m queue for taxi outside, yea, and the rain din help at all.. Going into the centre through the side gate was like herding sheeps into a pen... Gosh, and I thought the last IT fair was bad enough, now they have 6 levels of floors for you to see, but that doesnt even help spread out the crowd even for a bit.. I rushed all the way to the 6th floor, took a breather, before continuing on squeezing into the hall.. Argh, I am so not going to go for another IT fair unless I really have something to get.. It was horrible, so many times in the hall I felt like rubbish getting stuck in a pipe, totally unmovable!! It got so bad, I had to make several U turns.. Some people juz dont get it, they have to stop right in the middle of the passage way to look at stuff on the sides and block the whole darn traffic... Like I always say, 'this is not your father's road!!'...

Ok, in the end I gave up, didnt get anything cos they were no MP3s that I could find amiss that chaos anyway.. Oh well, then I met up with Robin, Andy and his friends and we went to Minds Cafe.. Yea, been awhile since Ive been there.. Its the one at Purvis street near the National Library at Bugis.. Oh the first game we played was the dinosaur bone game..
Ha, its really a brainless game but it was damn fun.... We had to match all our cards of the same colour and the first person who matched them quietly steals a bone from the middle, anyone who sees it will also steal one until the last person without a bone.. Seems easy?? Ha, many times we were so busy exchanging cards with people that we forget there are bones missing and end up scrambling to get one in the end.. lol.. Played lots of games that night, and ended up leaving the place at 12+.. Yea, 8 of us spent around 100+ bucks there and in the end, we got a free drink on our next visit.. -__- Yea, only 1 free drink..

Teachers day!!

Happy teachers day!!! To all teachers, especially the teachers in Peicai Sec...

Most of the schools would have had a half day today, we also kinda had one.. Urm, 30mins earlier than usual? LOL... I guess it was because of the sports carnival...

The students did have a lot of fun today I guess, with floorball, captain's ball, basketball and soccer... I din get to see captain's ball cos it was all the way in the hall.. I juz skipped between soccer and floorball... 1F was great on floorball, although you all got 4th position, I think you all gave it your best shot... Bravo!! Especially when some of you guys have to rush between this and captain's ball!! Soccer guys in 1F, Jordan, Bryan, Ryan, Mingi and more, you all were great too.. So close, and you all could have made it into the finals!! But it was a well deserved 3rd place... =) 2E was awesome on soccer.. And I thought Juden was kidding when he said they were good, but darn, they were really good!! Aqil, Juden, Wayne, LJ, Ben, Javern.. Wow, I think they demolished everyone that played against them... Ha, theres long shots, headers ,true pass shots, wat else.. I guess the jersey helped... right?? LOL... Ya, and I dunno y Javern's jersey is named King..??? Ha.. Oh Must not forget 2C on basketball, where Lina scored a point!! Woohoo!! 1 point!! Is tt good? haha.. well, it is when the other team is not scoring at all.. LOL...

Anyway, thanks to all for the wonderful day.. Thanks Clyde for giving me the only present I received from my students today.. Ha.. Oh, but I was lucky during the teacher's day reception when I received a doorgift and a mystery prize... An infra-red activated dustbin!! Woohoo!! Actually, I should have went up to collect the most caring teacher's day prize when they announced Mrs Lim's name, ha.. Since Im her relief.. So BHB right... o.0

Teaching!!

Yes, been doing relief teaching for the past 3 weeks at Peicai Secondary. At first, it was rather daunting, din really know what to expect from the kids nowadays.. haha.. But at least some of the classes left quite an impression, even though it was for only 2 weeks.

Well, will post the photos that I took with them later, I dunno if they want it to be posted in the 1st place... ha.. Well, so far my best classes are 1F, 2D and 2E. Of course there are a few students that i dont think i will forget even if I leave the school sometime in October.. Thanks to those whom I have added in friendster, even though Im not teaching some of you all now, I still hope that we keep in contact ok, already missing all of you guys...

Oh, great job to 2E on their Mexican restaurant today, it was great!! Great food, Great service (Thanks to Juden), Great atmosphere and Decorations!! Must congratulate everyone in 2E for their efforts towards the restaurant!! Kudos~~~

Yea!! Back from Taiwan, will be posting some of the trips highlights in a while, but let me show you my latest craze!! Wii~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ha, yea, I know its kinda long since it came out, but I juz got mine over in HK, at around 500sgd. I think for 2 controllers and a US version, its pretty ok.. Lol... But I only got a few games to play, like house of the dead, mario kart, boomblox, wii sports... Gotta love the online part for mario kart, juz cant seem to stop playing with people.. ha..

Oh well, I am hoping to get a wii fit soon, dunno how good is it anyway, well, in the meantime, its mario karting for me.... wiiiiii~~~~~~~~

Yay!! Taiwan, here I come!! Yesh, 1 more day and I will be in taipei!! Woohoo, wanted to go there for the longest time.. .But 1st, I have to clear my driving test tomorrow.. argh!!!

Seriously, I got a funny feeling Im gg fail tomorrow.. Like I failed for my advanced theory 1st time round.. Argh!!! How how... Shucks, at a mock test today, I did all the stupid mistakes I din even encounter during my normal lessons like strike curb!! WTH!! Shucks, Im gonna get all the jitters tomorrow again.. Its gonna be my downfall man.. I so wanna pass in my 1st try!!! Pls pray hard that they wont be reckless drivers in the circuit and no dumb drivers out in Ubi tomorrow!! Then at least the rest is up to me... =)

Thinking about it already sending butterflies to my stomach... Oh well, will see how it goes tomorrow....

Oh yea, if anyone wants anything from Taiwan, do inform me k!! Dont say that I never told you all, ha... If I never blog before I go taiwan, its most prob I failed the driving test... so in case I never come in again, cya all in june!!

The Trickster!!!!

Seriously, I usually dont believe in this kind of stuff but today, I witnessed the power of a trickster!!!

Ok, what happened was when I was about to go out of my house for exam this afternoon, I found out that I had lost my Ezlink card.. Yea, I searched everywhere for it but it was no where to be found. I searched the starbucks voucher also but to no avail, so I packed everything in my bag after about 20mins of searching and left house, ready to get another Ezlink card over at Harbourfront...

Upon reaching the ticket machine at fernvale, I found out that I could not use my 2 dollar notes cos they are the new plastic ones... And the fare cost $3.60 to harbourfront!! Argh, thats daylight robbery!! I had not enough coins to make up the $3.60 so I had to take one to sengkang and hopefully I can get a card there... Guess how much it costs.. $1.90!!!! For 4 LRT stops!! WTF... I was so pissed by then, but only to found out that there was a $1 refund for the card.. Ok, so I thought to myself, calm down, Ive got a test to worry about.. So I went onto the train, sat down, took out the jap book from my bag, and started to do revising... (TAKE NOTE OF THIS) I din found anything wrong or awkward as I put the book bak to get down at Sengkang. Ok, then I got off at Sengkang, went to the ticket counter, got myself an Ezlink card with a freaking $5 non-refundable deposit.. Yes, the card has a $5 non refundable deposit, just why cant SG follow what Hongkong does and give back a full refund when the card is returned!!!

Anyway, after I got my new card, I went into the NEL train, sat down again, opened my bag to get the Jap book out to revise again.. and alas!!!! My Ezlink card was sitting on top of the Jap book as if it was laughing at me!!! ???? This is just too much of a coincidence for me to believe.. It did not appear to me when I rummaged through my bag, it did not appear to me when I opened my bag on the LRT, it just so happen to appear infront of me just after I spent so much time looking and buying an extra card!! Is this fate!! Is this the work of a trickster??? Argh.. Im feeling so cheated right now!!! Sheesh, at least my exams are over...

Katong Food Haven

Waraku Restaurant, Heard of it before? Its a franchise of a japanese restaurant, supposedly a cheaper version... My 1st time there today too...

Just went today with my dad for lunch, supposedly was going for the beach road prawn mee but dunno y we ended up there.. lol... Its somewhere near Katong mall.. There are actually a cluster of restaurants in the area.. Theres a Hongkong tea house, a korean restaurant and theres Waraku...

Nice food, cheap price, I guess its not bad, just that the waiters there kept on repeating Arigato Gozaimashita so much so that they should have just put a cd on repeat mode going over the same lines.. But, I must say the service is rather good.. Just that they dont have ramen today!! WTH... Go all the way they for their Ramen and they dont have it that day... -__- Oh well, at least the salmon oyako I ordered was not bad.. =)

Katong is really a food haven man, other than that, we went past Astons specialities, the famous durian puff shop (10 bucks for 20 pieces by the way) and a whole lot of new korean restaurants on the way.. Wow! Its like a going thru an international buffet man.. Not forgetting theres Sakura buffet nearby, settler's cafe and a whole lot more restaurants and cafes.. Next time if you are perplexed on where to go for your next meal, just drop by Katong, you will be spoiled for choice..

Vantage Point

Just watched the show Vantage point, at first I was sorta intrigued by the fact that the story tells the tale of 8 strangers that witnessed a gunshot but after I saw it, wow!!!

The intriguing part about it is not about 8 strangers but much more.. oh, shall not reveal too much, you have to watch it full to get the suspense.. Yea, the whole plot takes about 20mins but its repeated for each stranger's account.. The best part is the suspense that is left at the end of each account before they bring you back to tell it from another perspective.. The real smart thing bout this movie is the ability to link all those small details together and piece together a superb plot.. If thats not what you are into, the thrilling ending car chase will definately thrill you..

Yea, its kind of the same Hollywood plot, I dunno why cant a movie not involve the president of the United States and yet again, he survives.. ha.. Oh yea, the ending was abit abrupt and unexpected, not really a good ending for such a good plot but oh well, its definately a must watch movie....

SYF Central Judging - Display Bands 2008

Today was the finals for the central judging for display bands and I must say, I din waste my time making a trip there to watch it.. It was held at the National Stadium.. Yes, it is still not taken down yet, although they said that they are going to more than 6 months ago..

Oh,back to the SYF judging.. It was awesome!!! Comparing to what I knew of it back in my secondary school days, erm, 10 years ago?? Its more of a chingay show. ha.. with all the dancers and special effects, some bands are really giving their all in this.. Of course this year's top 3 bands are no different from the past years with:

1) Deyi Secondary (Gold with Honours) (Best Display Band) (Best Drum Major)
2) TKSS (Gold with Honours)
3) Bowen Secondary (Gold)

The first band we saw was actually from TKSS, and it blew us away.. With all the dragons and chinese themes, it was really like watching a chingay parade, but far more entertaining.. Then came a couple of ok displays, then came on Bowen. We felt that Bowen was not really up to the standard that we hoped for, they were actually lucky to come across with a gold even.. Anyway, I thought West Spring Secondary gave a real good display, really deserved a gold from all that.. But they are in their 3rd year in this competition, so I guess kudos to them.. ^^ The best part was looking at the drum majors flipping their batons high up in the air and catching them on the way down.. Really cool man.. I should have went into a military band and take up that position instead of going for the student conductor position.. haha.. Throwing the baton is so much more fun then waving it around.. Lol...

The bomb came when Deyi came on in, their phantom rendition was done so perfectly that I really felt like Im watching the musical for a moment.. I think they got same winning formula from 2006.. A sudden unexpected swish of the flag at the start.. haha.. It really gave a good shock to start the performance. Every thing then was immaculately executed, and the Drum major was absolutely superb, Joshua I think was his name, and he took back the Best Drum Major Award for the year again for Deyi.. Congratz to Deyi, they really deserved it..

Oh, Im so sorry there were no pictures of them, I was to engrossed on their performance that I forgot about taking pictures. .hah..

Jacky Cheung Encore Concert 07

06 Jan 08 - Last Jacky Cheung Concert in Singapore for this year I think.. Ha.. I think this being his 93rd concert for this world tour, its enough for him I guess, lol...

This is my 1st concert in a long time I must say, but overall it was well worth it...

The stage is spectacular, the lighting is stunning, the music is awesome, what else could you ask for.. Well, the speakers were abit loud, after each dance song, you could feel your ears ringing.. oOoOoOoO

The dance numbers were eh... Unheard of.. Ha.. Im not really a Jacky fan per say, so im not that familiar with his fast dance numbers, so Im more inclined to his all so familiar tunes like 吻别，如果爱，祝福，心如刀割，etc.... So many nice songs that he sang before, I hope I dun offend people here, but I think he is way better than Andy Lau.. Ha..

Anyway, the 3 hours concert was cheered on by many of the fans in the stadium, and boy, did they knew each and every song he belted out.. ha.. I was still scratching my head to most of the songs, but once the classics were out, theres no way I could not have known them..

The best part was the part when he acted out the Snow wolf Lake musical and the 如果爱 song, and the encore in which he belted out numerous canto and chinese classics.. Woo, din really expect so many songs to be sung in the encore..

When Im done uploading the enormous sized videos online, I will post them up for you all to ogle at.. ha... Oh well, at least you get to sample some of it here!!

Yeap, 1st Jan 2008, a new year, a better year I hope, although 2007 was really a wonderful year as I went on SEP and stuff, really had been a terrific year, its kinda hard to top that.. Ha..

Anyway, was watching the Korean Drama Coffee Prince, really nice and a bit sad and frustrating at times.. Emotions just went wild after seeing it, and watching episode 6 or 7 i think, that particular episode was so emo I almost fell off my chair.. ha..

Well, boxing day, not a day that we would normally celebrate, especially when its the day of results from NUS...

Results, oh well, as usual, not very good or very bad, suprisingly got an A- for a module which I thought I would flung... But, as I would have known, one module wasnt what me nd the rest of the group were expecting.. Well, what can I say, Ive learnt that it is always important to be of good relation with whoever is accessing you. Call it sucking up call it sweeting up the deal, it is heck of an important stuff you need to do wherever you are.. NUS really taught us a real life experience, just did not know that this is what we would learn.. Oh well, tomorrow the group is going to confront the prof on our grades, yea, what a diff when some group was given an A+.. Really wanna see what makes their project that 'flawless'... Actually we already knew that the grades would not change even if we discussed with him, but anyways, theres only one semester left, just wanna get through it without any hiccups and problems.. haiz...

Now theres only FYP left, dunno whos going to access it, so I guess I need to do some 'sucking up' to protect my 12mcs worth.. Haiz, din know I had to resort to this...

Freaky Saturday

Why is it freaky? Bcos of the toopid FTT test.. Haiz.. Now i have to take it again in Jan!!! Let me ask you, do you know if school marshalls use a stop sign or hand signals to stop traffic for children to cross.... o.0 Stunned.. I think the only time I saw school marshalls was when I was appointed as one in primary school... ANd I dont remember carrying a stop sign with me, I just wore a luminous vest la.. Then now people say that in the past, they do carry stop signs, those who are hired.. The worst thing is that I dont even know the correct answer till now.. Bleah.. So much so for the 'efficient' test when they could have all the right technologies like touch screen and stuff but dun even bother to tell you which questions you got wrong in... -___-

Anyway, lets not talk bout the toopid test that, what made my day, other than the movie marathon I watched just now, was this clip on a super duper cute baby.. wahaha... It really turned my mood around man... watch..

Im so with baby Ally man... It practically sums up the test this morning.. Whatever~~~

Yea, one more week and exams will be here... Although tomorrow is my final theory test.. ha, never really study much for it, hopefully I dont fail.. =)

Anyway, juz went Johor yesterday and got myself a transformers poster on a frame!!! Ha!! Its superb la, now its in my room, and whenever I look at it, it juz makes me look back on what an awesome movie it was... I want a camaro too!! Bumblebee!! Ok, when I have the money I will get myself an original poster as well as a figurine of bumblebee!! ha, k im getting crazy... Oh yea, Transformers 2 is slated to release in June 2009!! Ha, cant wait for it to come out man.. lol...

Its Over!!!

Yay!! DP is over!!! Finally, after today's grueling presentation, its over!!! OMG, imagine the relief, imagine the happiness... Only to come back and got to know that there are no more air tickets to hongkong le... argh!!!!

Anyway, after this, there is still 2 projects, 1 report and 3 exams to go... yikes.. and I thought it was over... bleah.....

Yes, I finally finished the song Im gg to enter with to the comp!! Woohoo!! A bit choppy though, and I cant seem to find any site to upload it and let u all listen.. yikes.. anyway, I got inspiration for the song after I heard Tanya's new song 當你離開的時候... Suprisingly when I heard radio juz a few hours ago, it was announced that this song juz entered the chinese top hits charts this week and clinched the 1st place!!! OMG, 1st place on its 1st entrance to the chart.. thats juz superb la!! Lol, no wonder I had so much inspiration after hearing the song.. hee.. ok, let you all hear it, and see for yourself why is it that good... =)

White Tangerine~~~

Friday night, went to White Tangerine at Hougang South CC with Yihan.. Well, its quite a secluded CC, but when I reached, I was suprised as it was actually the cafe that was introduced in HDB tai tai.. haha...

Ok, it was much smaller than I thought, but the atmosphere was there... Cosy and Warm... We ordered a chocolate fondue, ok, we kinda ate it b4 I remembered to take a picture of it.. ha...

Luckily I din get a sorethroat after that but I think for the price, it was worth it...

But what is special with this cafe is that they have live music at the al fresco area outside.. Ok listen carefully, its only on fridays and it starts at 9pm... yea, that is if there are no Taiji ppl practising then.. haha...

I did get a recording of their singing but I cant seem to upload it.. haha.. The singers are not bad... Kinda got the ming ge feel.. And what we heard from the boss there is that its not their own people, but they hired them.. Hee.. Can they hire me too? Wahaha.... I like the place man, gonna bring ppl to go there sometimes... Thinking of it, I wanna open a cafe like this too!! Then got an area outside for bands to perform.. I mean sch bands.. haha.. Then occasionally can hold my mini concert.. wahaha... Sheez.. Still dreaming man...

Yay! I went for a haircut today... I got a regular hair stylist le!! Ya, I kinda like her cos she really knows how to cut my hair.. This is the 3rd time with there and I was really happy with the 1st 2 cuts.. Then this time round she gave me a odd cut, one side is super short like shaved while the other is kinda short but was only trimmed, suprisingly it turned out great!!! Hah.. Eh, just that I look too kiddish in it le.. I thought it would look cool and mature and all but it turned out to be too young le.. haha.. That brings me to the main thing I wanna talk about...

I was travelling to Yishun for my haircut when I saw a group of JC students in the MRT.. They were having so much fun talking to each other, making jokes and teasing others.. Brings back so many memories.. It was so much fun back in JC, hanging out with classmates and frens, going off to shopping centres after school, sitting down and chill in starbucks, ponning classes and go shop with frens in orchard!! wahah... It was so much fun and carefree then, although there are work to do too.. In university, everyone is busy with their own stuff, we dun hang out much often, and even if we do hangout, its not that close or that fun anymore... Even going for classes now seems stressful, theres just too many competitions going on among people.. Where were the days when we used to study together and help one another in homeworks and stick with one another, where were the days when we all just enjoyed going to school to meet up and chat with friends... In uni, it seems to be everyone for themselves.. Everyone says that they are busy with work and stuff.. But are they really busy with work??? If only I could turn back time, I just wanna go back to JC and just stop time there... I really miss my JC classmates and friends.. Haiz~~~

Ok, all these 3 dun seem to link right.. Precisely!!! And thats what Im faced with these days...

1st is IPPT, ok I din really go and book a date for IPPT this year, so the Army is really 'kind' to go and book it for me!! -__- Ya, but its too early, so I re-booked it for 1st dec... Too busy nowadays to go and train for IPPT la, what were they thinking....

Projects!! Yes, currently I have 3 projects.. All sue around the same time.. Going nuts... Esp for DP!! Its the toughest but I think its the most fun of all... Lol.. Im not crazy, its just that I love doing it with the group Im in... ha... The SHE project sucks big time.. Half of the time I dun even know what Im doing, and til now Ive done so little for it.. Argh... And the last one is Eng Prof, another project that seems to due so soon.. But I think that one is still manageable... Oh, I forgot to mention FYP!!! Yea, how can I forget that.. Have to saw, drill holes, file the #@*!% metal plates to fit the reactor... o.0 Why dun they order it just like what they did for the titanium plates.. I juz saw a box of ready made metal plates shipped from China for a research prof., but its only for him, why cant he help us order them too... -__-

Song~~ Yea, Im going to enter 心情溶剂, yea after 3 years of procrastinating, Im finally going to enter this year.. But Im having alot of problems with the recording of both the piano and my voice... argh.. My piano is not good, so I can only record bits and pieces of the song and put them together... Then my voice seems abit pitchy.. Dunno y, maybe the song is too high.. I think after listening to my song for so many times, I began to feel that it is abit boring, no climax.. argh... How??? Feel like giving up but I cant and I wont!!! Im not going to let this chance slip out again... lol.. So, I guess its more work for me then.. Hee, yea, I will put up the song as soon as it is ready.. Just went to Sushi Tei at serangoon gardens yesterday.. A small place, but the food is rather good actually... I had the ramen which Ive been craving for ever since I came back, finally get to eat it.. haha!!! The cold tofu came in an extraordinary large portion.. haha The promo of the month paper steamboat was ok, but the stock came in a tiger beer pitcher... o.O, Couldnt they have a better container for that??? Ok, it doesnt help that the sushi chef is just beside me, and the conveyor belt too.. Well, that didnt entice me that much as we only took one plate of sushi, a $4 plate that is.. -__-

Ok, this entry will be all on food.. haha.. Ok, my parents went back from Hokkaido and bought lots of food back.. Ok, it was quite a long ago liao, and when I saw how many photos I took of the food, I was shocked.... Only 4!! How can? I think we were busy eating the rest.. wahaha

Yup, your typical japanese crackers, but you wont know how good izzit till you taste it.. omg, I was so tempted to finish everything in one day...

Ooh, this you gotta try when you are in Hokkaido.. Its a layered cake, just like the qian cheng gao we have in singapore, just that this is a cheese cake.. Its so fluffy and the layers are so distinct, you actually feel that you are eating many layers of cheese cake at the same time.. wa!!!

This is actually a combination of 2 types of mini cakes, cheese and chocolate.. Also exquisitely packed and tastes heavenly.. haha..

I dunno wat happened to the other pictures I took, Im sure I did took them.. They are a must try when you visit Hokkaido, one is the famous Hokkaido potato french fries!!! Yea, french fries fried to a crisp, sealed in an airtight bag.. Its surprisingly super delicious, not like those normal fries that you will eat..

Ok enough of other people's food.. Robin and I tried to make Semla a month ago or so.. Yea, Semla is a swedish dessert only found during winter... He didnt get to see the end result though, so Im posting it here... Ta da!!

Yay! Had my 1st ever driving lesson on wed... Ok, I didnt expect it to be that fast, I actually got my 1st lesson the moment I enrolled into the school.. haa... Yea, its Ubi driving centre, I just heard it is the toughest to pass there... Argh!! How can, when it has the highest passing rate.. o.0 Oh well, 1st lesson and Im already driving around le.. So scary!! There were so many cars that day, I was so afraid that I will bang into any one of them, or even worse, a motorcycle. Ok, the speed limit is 30 so I guess its not that scary.. The worse part is whenever I stop before a zebra crossing and get started again, the car stalls.. o.0 "Release clutch, press accelerator", my instructor would say, but after 5 plus rounds the circuit, I still cannot get it.. -__-

Ok, driving is really tough, at least for my 1st lesson.. haha.. Cant imagine if I stall the engine on my test day.. Yikes!! Anyway, I kinda like driving now, w/o any cars on the road that is.. =)

Oh, saw Pirate Master this afternoon.. Eh, dun worry if you never heard of it, its a reality program that pits people against each other in search of the treasure.. haha.. Kinda cool show, and I just happened to watch the last episode where the winner gets a bounty of US$500 000!!! Ha.. Its really very true to the spirit of Pirates.. Mutiny, bribery, control..

完美故事, a new song by 潘玮柏... listening to it now.. nice, easy going... i just wanna forget some things, cant really get alot of sleep, been so bothered... just wanna drown myself in music... now its 爱不离 by him also, liking his songs these few days... wish I could just make music and sing my hearts out.. thats what i really like..

Just thought of opening a cafe.. a themed cafe.. a band cafe... sounds wierd.. yea, and its not those rock bands, its concert bands, the one in schools, the one i was in from sec sch to JC... just felt that there was no place for band people to gather and have a place of their own.. Imagine the cafe filed with band music, menu items are all named after band pieces.. Spartacus fish and chips, magic flute fries.. haha.. cool right.. Then I can incorporate all the food and drinks I wanna make into the menu... Jupiter, baby potatoes wrapped with onion ring... haha... darn cool...

BUT.. its not easy to open a cafe... need alot of $$$!!!! Yea, so must think properly...

Midweek of midterm break.. Feeling lousy... Feeling blue....

Just saw 881, cos all of them says its nice... Hmm, I agree that the actresses and actors are really good, especially 小木瓜，but the whole show seems abit over-hyped. The costumes were great, songs were wonderful, but whats with the special effects.. Seems totally unrealistic... In the end, both the papayas were on the floor, hurt, but by what??? Still a blur to me... The director is great in filming but one thing is that there is no proper use of music in the show. Parts where there should be music to bring bout the feel it was not there, parts where there shouldnt be, there was.. I think the whole show was like on how many costumes can they change into, and all the 'emo' parts were squeezed into the last 15 mins of the movie... Ok, I guess the older generations will feel more for the show as they have been through what a getai is, probably foreigners will find this intriguing too as it is really a different culture that they will be seeing...

I think the actors and actresses did a great job, you can really feel what they are felling at that point, so kudos to them....

Mid term break is here... Yea, sort of... Not when you have to go back school almost everyday for project meetings and fyp!!! Yes, my fyp just started.. Woohoo!! Dunno if its good news or bad.. Oh well, at least we are doing something nice like microbio stuff and not some compound testing...

Yay!! Eh, not really yay, but at least Im back in NUS after my exchange in Sweden!! WooHoo!! Ha, anyway, sian la, no more hall, just hours of travelling... argh!! Abit regret la, but must still hang on... Find out there are alot of things I can do at home that I cant do in hall... Hmm.. Like watching TV from my big screen TV.. haha... Aircon, peace and quiet, spend more tme with my family.. hee..

But i still miss hall... I miss the suppers in fongseng and the nanns (duno how to spell) from sheares, miss my neighbours in 4th floor, miss floorball sessions (in the mph and along the corridors), miss my bed in room E401, miss disturbing ppl when they study, miss the 'wonderful' dinner in hall.. haha.. Just feel so sian at home sometimes....

School... From a 3 day week, to a 4 day, now its confirmed.. 5 day!! Yikes, in the end, I have to spend almost 15 hours a week on travelling to and from school... Costs me almost $120 a month on travelling alone.. argh! Time to get a concession card.. Yea, after 3 years in NUS i decided to get one... lol

Argh, so mad at the bus driver!!!

I was going from Tampines to Amk, so I guess taking bus would be the fastest way.. So I took bus 22 from the interchange. As I went up the bus, I tapped my Ezlink card and went to the seat behind. I was trying to untangle my earphones when suddenly the bus stopped halfway before going out of the interchange and the bus driver got up in his seat and walked towards me. The funny thing is that he mumbled something which I cant understand and pointed to the front. Ok, I thought I dropped something so I went with him to the front. The best part is here, he opened the door and ask me to get off... -_____-||| Then finally, I knew what he was saying, he said if I dont want to tap my ezlink card, then get off the bus!! WTH!! Everyone was like looking at me cos the bus stopped halfway, and I explained to the bus uncle I tapped my card already, but he insist I didnt and ask me to get off!!

So, ok I thought I really didnt tap my card, so I tapped my card infront of him and the reader read, it deducted 60cents off my card!! That means I tapped the card already and now I tapped again for exit!! WTH!!The bus uncle didnt apologize or anything and just close the door and drove on!! Leaving me walking back to my seat! So dumb!! I didnt even bother to tap my card again, if the bus conductor comes, I will just tell him its the bus driver who ask me to tap the card again, if not he will ask me to get out of the bus... So pissed off with the bus driver, make me malu infront of people then never apologize also... Somemore he was so fierce when he ask me out of the bus!! What crap...

The only good thing is that I only paid 60cents from Tampines to Amk.. bleah... No, actually shd be a free ride if I complain!!!

Merry Christmas!!! Favourite holiday of the year (except for Chinese New Year where all the hongbaos come in) Never did spend a white Christmas before and this year is no exception. Well, having to countdown the new year on the plane is rather exciting still.. ha!!

Yay, yesterday had a successful farewell party (dinner), thanks for all who came and endured the food.. ha... Surprised that my cheesecake turned out edible and with some standard too.. haha...

One more week left till I fly off and I haven't pack!! Lol... Ok, tomorrow I will start packing.... One more week left.. Excited?? Well, not really, don't have the feeling yet... Probably will get it when it gets nearer.. ha.. Hmm, right now don't think I will ask anyone to send me off except my family ba.. Holiday is here.. Yay, finally no exams, so now slacking til the end of the month.... AS IF... Theres so many things to do this hols, I dont even know when to start... First is to take care of the songs for production before I leave for Sweden (by the way, its on 31st dec), then I have to buy stuff for my trip there, (just bought a pair of timberland boots at a cheap price), have to prepare for the gathering on the 23rd, have to liase with the university on accommodation.. still got stuff I cant remember right now.. yikes.. so much to do so little time...

So, my birthday was on friday... well, it was not bad, considering I spent my night packing stuff from hall back home... o.0 Ha, it was not that bad though, had a nice buffet lunch at traders hotel, got nice T-shirts from my frens... ha... Then today I saw testimonials, so nice... Ha, especially the one from da ge, Songde, nice happy birthday greeting from you tube, lol.. you all should go and see... Then I saw the card Robin and the rest gave me.. Darn funny also...

Anyway, today Jin, Ber and I went to eat New York New York at Citilink... Wow, it was really nice and worth it.. Im not talikng bout the free candy floss, but $12.90 for Carbonara and half a roast chicken is really worth it la... The he mudpie we ordered really looked like a pie... A chocolate pie that is.. Lol.. Ya, then later got the Timberland shoes.. I think its worth it, $98 for a pair of roll out boots... original price $229.. =)

Oh, just saw this Korean MTV 'Everything'.. Nice!! The 4 gals inside all chio!! Got one look like Selina from S.H.E, one look like the 'Goong' gal, one look like Yvonne Hsu, one just look chio...

Went to watch prestige today... Its ok a movie, nt that fabulous but a nice twist at the end proved to be a worthwhile show after all.... Watch it closely, maybe you will see an important meaning to the whole show... Been really sianz these days.. firstly, cant get a song out for the competition in dec... no inspiration at all.. haiz.. then tuition is really dragging me down.. although its only 3 times a week... 0.o

But luckily the gummibear and baby bear thing is cheering me up.. lol.. well, its nice to see letters for you after a tiring day.. and I got this from my babybear.. She says its a monster.. lol.. but its a turtle la, where got monster so cute one.... ha..

Oh ya, went to the Pulau Semakau landfilling site today, really different from what I expected... I thought it would be full of birds and stench all over.. but no.... its like a civilised version of normal landfills.. lol.. They told us people actually come here for sport fishing!!!! Fishing in a pond in a landfill, cool, but dun think of finding boots or clothings in them cos the landfills are comprised of ash only.. lol... The place is quite scenic actually, next time can organize a picnic there... =) Im serious...

Argh... Cant believe the construction thats been going on just outside of my room in hall.. Its so near to us that I can actually fly a paper aeroplane over..

Theres no need for an alarm cos they will start pounding at 8am... Then in the afternoon, the noise is so loud that my speaker has to be turned 2x louder to actually hear whats coming out from it... Then theres the huge heaps of dust flying into my room.. argh, cant even study properly, cant even sleep properly...and the worse thing is I have to continue putting up with this til the end of sem... Mid sem break is here... Wanted to slack and yes I did... For 2 days that is, til now i noticed the piles of undone projects.....

Yeah, wrote 2, actually 3 songs since 2 weeks ago.. English songs that is, recorded one, but i think my singing sucks.. Or is it the mic or the environment.. haha.. well, kinda raw the recording, but well, its a first take on my song.. ha.. Really feels good for my song to be recorded....

Bought a new phone.. Nokia 6280.. Yeah, the one everybody seems to be having nowadays thanks to the student promo.. Well, it aint a bad thing after all since more ppl using it means more themes will be created!! Cool, finally I have a camera phone.. yeah dun laugh..

Recently Ive been real scared... yeah, like thinking 5 years down the road.. What will I become, where will I be, will I be that happy or sad?? Will I still be having fun with the people around me, will I still get to see or talk to them daily or often... The thought of them drifting away is so scary... Was wondering, are everyone only concerned about themselves? Are couples getting together or married just because the society urges them to be that way, even they dun feel completely in love?

I guess our society is too tight lipped bout everything... Restricting whatever informations that comes in, a bit like North Korea... Parents keep on asking their children nt to get a gf/bf too early, focus n studies, then once university finishes, they rush u to get a gf/bf fast, saying tt u are nt young anymore... -__- Do they think that relationships are like the ones in Fairy Tales like Sleeping Beauty? One kiss and she's yours?

Well, the ave. age that we get married seems to be getting later and later.... By the time I get married, I may have kids that goes to uni when im at the age of 55+.. wow... thats old... shucks... =( Oh well...

'D' Day

Yesh, 'D' Day.. Well, not actually THE day cos, i had my audition postponed to tues.. After 8 hours of queing... now i feel like a total idiot....

Well, I started to queue at 10am, for those who know Toa Payoh, the queue stretched from Ya Kun Stall, U-turned at the road, back to the HDB Hub... The scary part is not the long queue, but the movement of the queue... I barely moved 4 metres after every 15-20 mins... After bout 4 hours under the scorching sun, finally I gave up, just at the turn about.. Imagine, 4 hours to reach from Ya kun to the road.. -___- The worse thing is that I had to drag Jinliang along... He was feeling so sick that day liao, somemore he had to accompany me throughout.. Really felt terrible at myself... Well, finally gave up queuing and we went for bites at Fei3 Chui4 and sat at BK to watch the concert...

Around 5 plus, we went back to see the queue again, this time Weihan came along too... I went to search for the person who queued just behind me.. Guess what... He only reached Thiong Bahru Pau there.... -__- Lucky I din continue queing, cos the audition ended then, and all left had to be recheduled for another day... SIANZ!!!!

The worse thing is, I thought now no more audition, so need to register only for another timeslot.. SO i went to queue again.. Yes, all the way from the back once more... Another 2 hours gone, when i finally got a slip of sticker saying to come back on tue to queue again!!!!!! WTH..

Crapness, now I dun feel like gg back for the audition on tue le, thinking bout it, if I dun go, I will be wasting my time queing up today right... ARGH!! The thought of travelling all the way down from hall, to queue, then get to sing 10s of song and get rejected is utter sianz..... Dunno Y i thought of going for it in the 1st place... o.0

Oh ya, and thanks all who encouraged me to go... Really, without you all, I dun think I would be gg there today le.. Although I dun hve much confidence in getting in but at least its a good experience.. Sry to dissapoint u all if I decided nt to go for tue's audition... Really dunno what i shd do now.... o.0

Just saw an episode of Honey and Clover II... It says something bout a split between talented ppl and not talented ppl, a split between those who are loved and those who are not.. Were we given the choice to choose which road to take ever since we are born, or is it all predestined....

Its funny if you think of it, the closer you are to someone, the less you want to spend time with them... Do you take them for granted?

Everything seems picture perfect at a distance... The closer you get to it, the more the flaws will surface.. But why look at everyone with a magnifying glass?

The person is seating just opposite you, but you feel as if a whole length of river Nile is between both of you... Words coming out from your mouth seems to disperse to nothing as it travels over...

I guess distance in reality cannot be measured in metres or miles, its all up to the mind... So next time if you are visiting people, dun blame the distance for not making the visit, its all up to you...

Fireworks

Fireworks... They never fail to draw huge crowds wherever they are set off.. Well, the Singapore Fireworks festival just ended on 12th August.. Well, I only went to see it on the last day, it was the france team displaying that day though... I was so lucky, I actually saw the fireworks in the car.. Lol.. Yup, there was a huge jam along marina road and we were stuck there in the middle of the road and for the 1st time, I was glad there was a jam.. ha..

Well, the one on top is the one at Hongkong Disneyland... Simply Fantastic.. With Disney music as its Background.. Its simply breathtaking.. Well, what can I say, Im a Disney Freak.. lol...

So next time when theres a fireworks display, go and take a look.. You definately wont regret it.. =)

Well, lots of things to be glad about and sad too..
After reaching back to Singapore from Hongkong, heard that JL had an accident and was hospitalised.. Quite serious actually, but glad its getting better now.. Cant believe how fragile life is.... =(

Back to Hall, Orientation... Back to the lifestyle, hate it and love it though... In any case, this is my last sem here.. So, gotta make full use of the time spent here I guess.. Ya, my best and worst memories are all in Hall, so I must say, living in it sure sums up my life... =)

Once again, the new sem begins, my life starts to twirl in this ever self containing tornado... understand what I meant?? I dun understand myself either..

Anyway, 3 more days to hongkong!! Yay... Finally, the time has come for me to step foot on disneyland.. Although its a smaller, more crowded, lesser attractions, budgeted version, its still Disneyland!!.. lol.. Crazy right.. Like a 8 years old kid...

Yay.. after 17 days in camp... Im back to civilian life!! Wow, does that feel great.... Well, being back there isnt all that bad, at least I get to meet all my frens back there again....

Anyway, just went to Takashimaya happily with my 100 dollars voucher... BUT!! I walked round and round and found out that theres nthing to buy!! Cant force myself to pick anything from the shelf.. Argh.. Looks like I have to go back there again to fish for better stuff.. Sian, rather use that money to buy ripcurl and stuff like tt...

My hongkong trip is coming... well, looks like the great singapore sale for me starts then then.. lol.. Not really going to buy much though.. Quite ex still... So the main attraction for me there is still Disneyland... Well, it may seem childish, but its the first time Im going there, so gif me a break k.. =)

Since knowing bout the diease, she has been writing into her diary, inspiring others around her... This is BASED ON A TRUE STORY... This drama is so touching, encouraging, emotional that more often so you will be drenched in tears... This must be one of the saddest dramas I have ever watched... Thats why its called 1 litre of tears..

Well, just came back from Bintan trip, was really fun, now Im gonna learn surfing.. ha... Well, it was fun, nice 5 room, double story bungalow we were living in.. ha.. Well, only thing bad is the food there.. All in Sing dollar... -__-.. Almost had me thought it was another Sentosa...

Well, no pics yet to show cos no pics uploaded yet.. yeah, I din bring my camera there... Oh ya, the waves there are huge... Compared to the ones in Singapore, its like comparing Eiffel tower to the Merlion.. Anyway, body-boarding was way cool.. din expect it to be so much fun, luckily I woke up from a late night over Champions League finals and dragged myself there.. =)

Its over.. finally Campus superstar is over... The joy, the pain, the excitement.. Well, kinda sad tts its over, no more stuff to keep me perked up on my mon blues.... Darn.. Getting to the end of the sem but still got projects ands assigments to finish.. Oh, and that dreaded chem hwk due every mon!! It has turned out to be a copying frenzy instead....

Well, the new year is here.. What Better ways to celebrate it then to watch Taipei's countdown.. Lol.. Lame right, should be outside orchard road or something counting down to the new year.. But how can they compare to taipei's countdown.. And Obviously I watched it due to Stefanie Sun.. Wahaha...

And Who could resist the spectacular fireworks from Taipei 101..

Well, the year also started off on a superb note with The chronicles of Narnia.. Ya, I know its a december movie, but I giam can, waited til no one watchin then go watch... Cheap plus good seats.. haha But I must say its a very good movie.. Yesh, one of the best I have seen.. The thing that shocked me was that it was only 1 book out of a series of 7.. -__-||| Ok, I abit slow can, only knew of the book when i watched the movie... A different genre from LOTR, but I must say, its comparable to Tolkiens works.... And the witch is Uber cool.. Brought a whole new perceptive of witches.. hah

Well the rest of the characters are not bad too....

Well, simply amazed by the movie.. haha... Well, until MI:3 then.. lol

Yupz, its been a long time since my last post, not bcos i was super busy or anything, but just got no mood to blog.. Well, here I am now, means tt I have a bit of mood to blog right.. lol..

Anywayz, the year is slowly creeping to to the end liao, got so many resolutions hvnt fufilled yet.. Hmm, sianz, dun tell me have to bring all those over to the next year.. Everytime the same thing... Wellz, what can I do.... ;(

Hmm, is life fair..? lol.. Just heard a funny thing from my 'bro' just now, if there were 3 chiobus and 3 not so chio gals who went for trials, all of them hve similar skills, so who do you think will get into the team? Well, I shall not answer that cos I guess lots of you will know the answer... Well, the thing bout life being unfair is rather subjective... Those who have all they want will think otherwise from those who seems to hve certain stuff lacking from the others... So what are you going to do 'bout it? I mean you cant spend the rest of your life lamenting 'bout it, its either you get over it, find something else to be good in or you work hard and prove to others that you do have what it takes...

Finally got my dvd writer and portable harddisk.. and guess what, my dvdwriter is giving me problems!!! Write 3 discs all spoil... Hai, now I have a 0% success write rate.. darn.. Technology and me dun go together... Yupz, always like this... But at least my hard disk is working fine.. oops, shouldnt say so soon... Luckily with the harddisk, Im able to d/l as many anime as I want.. lol... Way Cool!!

Hmm, I think I found out a common plot behind all the different anime.. To survive through anything with the help of frens and geting stronger to protect the ones you love.. If you dun believe, try looking back at all the animes, I believe at least 70% of the anime are based on this... well, at least all the action based anime are like tt...

One last thing!! I gotta change my blog skin.. More errors are surfacing, dun know why, must be due to the coding or something, it gets so unstable sometimes... Well, no time to do that now I guess, back to mugging......

School has started and Im not in the studying mood yet..... Y??? Lol... I wish I could answer that, but I guess Im just felling damn sian tts all... Well, the beginning of the term has not been all that good, lots of things happened, lots of cockups..

If anyone has been on MSN, U all must have seen my nick.... Well, relationships are confusing aint it.. Whether it is between frens or BGRs, they are VRY confusing... I guess Jinliang was right.. Sometimes life just aint fair.... Have you met across people who have treated you very good but you just shove them away, not really makin an effort to care about them, and have you treated someone vry good, and hopefully they will be true to you in return, but always it aint the case... Well, I know Ive gone through that... Thinking 'bout it, aint it funny... Its like you are being treated the same way you are treating other people.. The more you care 'bout someone, the more you should expect to be hurt.. Well, Im not being pessimistic or anything, just saying it out from experience.. Well think 'bout it, would you feel more hurt if ur best fren ditched you for someone else or if a stranger scolds you in public... Ok, not a good example, but I think you shd get what I mean....

Well, been looking through some blogs over the internet, kinda random blogs and some recommended blogs... I must say, people are takin blogs seriously... Well, everyone shd know bout the most popular blog by this gal.. well, shall not reveal the add here, but I guess u all shd know.. Well, I dun know if its all a marketing scheme or what, but Y is everyone makin a big fuss over the blog.. Isnt blogs supposedly to be private, a way of keeping in touch with frens, keeping track of your personal life... Well, now blogs has been a way of propagating information, an outlet for anger and unhappiness... If you see some of the blogs that Ive seen, I must say, you should ban them immediately.... right on!!

Well, lets not dwell on these kinda things, lets be happy... Be yourself, dont try to change yourself in order to suit other people, the right person will come to you eventually.... Remember, only true frens will appreciate for who you are, and not what he expects a fren to be...

Yay, og orientation is over.. now its up to block... well, i guess the time to study is ever drawing near... wa, its been realy a super shag week... slping at 3 ams wakin up at 8.. and the whole day is packed with activities!!

Well, something better, I highlighted my hair!! 21 bucks only.. well, it was a crappy highlight anyway, put bout 10 foils like tt only, then all patches... lots of ppl commented tt my highlight at the back looks like CRAP!! Argh!! how?? darn.. dun wanna waste money to highlight again leh... jialat, hve to conceal it liao...

with rag day commin soon, studies too, and hall IBG... really, i dunno how to pirioritize them liao.. really worn out now, battery flat liao. dunno how to cope through the whole sem.. further more i hve to train for my ippt in sep.. jialat liao like tt....

Actually, today's flag day was better than expected... at least ppl were not so affected by the NKF incident.. well, we did good i guess... lol.. actually no comments la.. had a great time anyway...

Yesh, after 2 weeks of pure fun and excitement Im back.. hmmph, sadz.. wanna stay there longer, its such a nice place.. Oh, will out some of the better pictures up soon.. hee.. sorting them out now..
Really envy those ppl studying abroad, have all the freedom and at the same time learn to be independent.. Oh ya, part time pay in Aust is $18.50 per hour.. Im like wt@!! Singapore only pays you like $4-5 in Ntuc fairprice... Really make us look like slave labourers..

Hai, my sis was right, been awhile ive played Tennis!! Someone jio me pls!!! Also miss badminton!! Hmm, should I try for lifeguard badge, so sian these days, must go try something new.. Well, my parents say I shd go earn some money before I start learning driving.. -_-|| Say that will make me treasure every lesson.. -_-|| Gosh!! Must go find tuition liao, but tution these days pay so little.. Heard from Bernard on his tuition, only $20 for 1.5 hours!! Used to be much more than this......

Back to school soon.. Dun even know what modules to take also.. takecanother business module and flung it again perhaps.. lol... well, have to see what robin wants to take... -_- Moving back to hall means more committment.. Really want to be free of all this.. quite tired of it from last year... hmm, maybe I shd try to be phantom since im not stayin on for my 3rd year.. Yay, back from CSC camp.. woohoo, it was really fun, especially being the SP letters, get to read all the mushy letters.. hahaha... And my group won first place again.. ha, its two years in a row for me!! hee.. well, I must say that our group is indeed superb!!

Well, didnt regret gg for the camp, met many wonderful ppl, expecially fellow councillors!! You all are the best!! Yay!! Yup, and the freshies too, glad that they were onz about it and glad they enjoyed the camp, especially when they got home with a vcd player each!! ha... Two years of CSC camp and I must say im always in the best group, lol.. Oh ya, and thanks to our AKC, lingfong for the identifier, it was super cool!! I shall frame it up and hang it in my room.. muahaha...

Well, camp is over, but hope that our spirit is still there and that we may be jedi warriors forever ha!!

Next for me is Australia.. Really looking forward to it although I hvnt packed yet.. lol.. And im leaving on sun, tt leaves me 3 days!! Wow, no time!!! ha, and if anyone wants anything from there msg or call me k!! dun ask me to bring back a kangaroo or something like tt ok.... -__-

Stupid exchange rates, they change as fast as roller coasters, as irratic as a mad dog, gg crazy with chosing the date to change aussie dollars.. hmm.. heck care, as long as the rate is 1.28, change it liao...

CSC camp is just around the corner, in fact its this fri, wa, so fast... I think i will screw up the SP night thing.. lol.. well, try my best not to then.. lol, gg to hve sleepless nights reading through all the letters.. lol.. So interesting, looking at other ppls letters, but its ethical right.. ha.. no choice, hve to filter out psychos, desperados and perverts.. hee..

Duuno is u all hve watched the show 'Raise your voice' by hilary duff.. dunno y? I felt so touched by the show, although it seems a bit cliche the storyline, but I recommend you all to watch it with a lighter heart.. lol.. probably u all will find it meaningful.. but dunno y they change the original song in the show to one of hilary's songs.. totally out, i think the previous one is much nicer.. lol..

Post Exam....

Wow, exams been over so long and this is my first entry since... wow, why did it took so long man.. Well, nvm, this will be a vry long post.. I hope...

Busy looking for jobs.. Well, the thing is that its not as easy as I thought it would be.. Sending out tons of resumes didnt seem to do the trick.. After so many weeks of trying, only managed to secure a few ad hoc work, hai.. sianz half.. well, at least I have a few but definately not enough for my Aust trip!! No choice, ticket has been booked and there is no backing out now.. Now, planning a budget for the trip and get this.. It amounts to a whopping 2.5k.. wa!! Well, to look at it from another point of view, 2.5k isnt that much for a 14 day trip to aust right.. lol... Hmm, its gonna be my first time travelling to such a far country with my frens only.. Gonna be a hell of fun I think.. lol... Super looking forward to it..

Well, block trip was just over, and I must say it has been really fun... Well, at first I was hesistant about going there, and there were mixed feelings even as we were there.. But looking back at it, I think it was well worth it.. Perhentian is such a beautiful place, unspoiled and all, crsytal clear waters, beautiful fishes, SHARP corals and of cos, stinging jelly fishes.. Well, snorkelling was an experience of a lifetime, although the waters could well be 60% saturated with salt.. *Pui*... The most exciting part for me was actually the storm that came in on the 2nd day, the experience of a storm on an island is far scarier than back at home... Now I know how scary a tsunami would have been... Well, other than that, we were blessed with perfect weather for our 2 days of snorkelling and beach activities.. Yay!!

I guess the best part of the trip was with the company of good friends.. Yup, really been great you guys, especially to those that will leave us next sem, really glad to have met u guys.. Have you ever met someone for say a year or less and felt that you have known him for years and years to come.. Well, I must say I have surely felt that during the trip.. My hall life wouldnt have been so excting and fulfilling w/o him... Well, next sem is another start of hall life and phantom here I come... lol.. Not as if I want to be but need to study more liao, otherwise my cap will nosedive to dunno where....

Hee.. so for now, shall find more jobs, play more maple, sleep more (contradicts with playing more)...

Well, been hit alot by relationships these days... People kept complaining to me about how their relationships are in a total mess, how relationships these days are so hard to figure out, you never know what the other person is thinking, whether or not he/she treasures this relationship or not...
Well, the best way to find out I think would be to express it out straight.. Not sure if u all have noticed, but everyone seems to be going 'bheout tir daily life with a wall infront of them... Afraid to express their feelings past this wall, and forever kept it within... WHY?? afraid of rejection? afraid that the feeling is not mutual? Afraid that it will be awkward?
So how is friendship similar? Have you ever felt that someone could well be your best friend? Afraid to closen up the friendship, thinking that the other person might not feel the same way?
Well, no time to think bout all these now.. Better get my mood for studying soon or else im so gonna flung my exams.....

Hmm... You must be wondering, gosh, what the hell is that right... Ha, at first I was baffled too... Its the time when we say goodbye to the final year seniors in hall.. Yup, it wa kinda solemn though for the dinner, but after that, it was the performance 'The Ultras'... And I must say, I was stunned, shocked, thrilled, blown away by the performance....

There were special effects that would put Star Wars to shame, there were X-rated scenes that would put Paris Hilton out of job, there were superb action scenes that would make Jackie Chan remake all of his past films, and there was Yatta!.. dont know if I spelled it correctly, the hilarious, embarassing Jap music video that will drown out the waterboys... Gosh, never did I see any performance like this in my entire life.. I guess the final years have really lost it.. lol... just kidding....

3 or 4 years in a hall is a long time, its not something I will experience but I can guess what kind of emotions are going through them right now... Well, hall life is indeed something very different, never willl anyone leave hall without cherishing every memories and moments they had in their hall life. I guess friendship is not forged over a day, and I believe that by true friendship are forged by enduring whatever good and bad times you are going through, and hall life is the best place for that to happen.. Well, Im glad im in hall, never had any regrets, maybe the only regret I will have is having to leave my friends after my stay here.. Well, I definately wont forget them, especially some really close friends I have met here...

Well, back to reality... Test this sat!! argh.. hvnt got a clue to what the topics are toking bout also... finish liao... gonna get another crap result again... Well, lets just take one step at a time k... So now, shall go sleep first, recharge my energy for another day of slacking!!!
